Do not see Ghost of Girlfriends Past.
It was painful.
It was almost so stupid that it was funny...but not quite.
Just awful.
I just don't get why Matthew McConaughey would agree to do the movie. Luckily, I didn't see Fool's Gold because the previews looked so dumb, but I was hoping that he was going to bounce back with this flick. Wrong.
I figured that GoGP would be just another plotless chick flick but it doesn't even deserve that classification. We didn't even make it an hour in. The only other movie I've ever walked out of is Home Teachers.
Those kind folks at the Gateway theater gave us our money back. I simply said, "Our movie started twenty minutes late (true story) and it was stupid. Can we get a refund?"
I will definitely read some reviews and wait for a recommendation from a friend before I see a Matthew McConaughey movie again.
Side note: If you are a hippie and would like a tasty savory or sweet or both crepe go to Greenhouse Effect Coffee on 900 E and 3231 S. They also have really good hot chocolate...but it's a little warm for that now.

Your first hint should have been that Matthew McConaughey was in it. I'm not a huge fan myself.
PS. Greenhouse Effect is a favorite of mine. So glad you have tasted of its goodness and blatant hippie vibe.
Oh dang. Didn't read your last post until tonight...or else I would have warned you against seeing GoGP! Yeah...it was TERRIBLE.
But the good news is that I get to see you in 2 weeks :)
Guess I won't see that one on a ManDate with Brian as we did at the dollar with Failure to Launch. Dang you Matthew, dang you.
