A tender Tennessee Christmas is the only Christmas for me.

I have a special place in my heart for Amy Grant.
My very first cassette tape was Heart in Motion.

There is a direct correlation between the amount of Christmas cheer I feel in my heart and the Christmas music I am listening to at the moment. For example "Last Christmas" by Wham! makes me feel like the Grinch prior to his heart growing three sizes. Whereas "Heirlooms" by Amy Grant makes me feel like Ebenezer Scrooge when he wakes up on Christmas morning and has Christmas dinner with Tiny Tim.

I have both of these albums on cassette tape, but that is so 1994.

Yesterday I bought this on iTunes:

38 Amy Grant Christmas gems. Now it's Christmastime.

We are kindred spirits FOR SURE. Amy Grant was my first cassette tape, too! And in fact, I sang "Baby Baby" at my fifth grade talent show, whilst dressed up as a baby, and I had some kickin' dance moves to go along with it (soooo embarrassing now, but totally rockin' back then). Back in the day, I wanted to BE Amy Grant. I love these Christmas songs. love 'em love 'em. Glad you're enjoying them as well!

I agree, it's not Christmas without some Amy. The red cloak one is my ULTIMATE favorite and has been for years!

Fun fact about Chile: they love Amy Grant. I heard "Baby Baby" playing at the grocery store at least once a month.
