As this season approached, I had a mild panic attack because we have no TV or internet in our humble, Amish abode. I convinced some boys in my ward to DVR it with the promise that women would flock to their house every Monday night. The crowd grew with each passing week and I definitely felt like I kept my end of the bargain.
Originally, I imagined the boys pushing play and then disappearing to some far corner of the house, but they got sucked into the drama too. I didn't realize just how into it they were until we went to their house to watch the finale on Monday night.
We typically just walk in but this time the door was locked. So we knocked like civilized folk and we were very surprised when Jake (note: this season's bachelor is also named Jake) answered the door in a suit and welcomed us to his home. The floor was covered with rose petals, there were candles everywhere, and the bachelors were looking dapper in their suits. They had even baked a cherry pie. There were red long stem roses laying on the table (which they gave us at the end of the evening), and pictures of Tenley and Vienna on the wall. They definitely went above and beyond!
I'm bummed that the pictures are blurry...I guess that's what you get with a cell phone...but you get the idea.

Awesome! Okay, I think Ryan may or may not have gotten sucked into the drama too because as soon as the finale ended, Ryan said "I think Tenley and Kipton should hook up." To which I agreed. But funny that he even knew the runner-up from last season too.
THAT is impressive. I love when boys put effort into things. It's pretty adorable. Way to go Bachelors!
Huh... A Tenley/Kipton hook up? Now that's a thought...
Oh, my gosh. That is so cute. Soooo cute. (and I can say 'so cute' because I have a 12yo and that makes me officially old.) :)
