So I got the new Coldplay album (thank you Ruth Ann and Janet!) and needless to say it rocks. Hard. I've only been able to listen to it a few times but I love it. I haven't decided yet if I am so in love with it because it's new or because I actually like it better than their old stuff. Only time will tell.
I wanted to share a smattering of samples from the album with you, I also wanted to learn how to use iMovie on my sweet computer, and I needed to distract myself while waiting for a job offer so the following was an attempt to kill three birds with one stone. Wow! That's talent.
Keep in mind that this is my FIRST time using iMovie...the music transitions are pretty rough. Get over it. And you've pretty much seen all of the pictures and movie clips before, with the exception of my trip to L.A. last summer...
The first song is called Strawberry Swing, the second is Lost! (not to be confused with Lost?), next we have Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love, and finally Viva la Vida. Enjoy!
My distraction was successful...I got the job! I will be working in Downtown Salt Lake City at an advertising agency called McCann Erickson Worldgroup as an Account Executive on the McAfee account. Did you catch all of that? I start June 30th which means one more week of freedom.

Wow! That sounds like the big time! Congrats! It's great when people who graduate college actually get a job related to their major. Also--congrats on getting the Coldplay album. They are my favorite band and the album is fantastic. They're coming to SLC in November. You should go! And, sorry I couldn't come to the Jack Black film festival, it sounded fun. Hope you had a good time.
I loved your video! Especially when Dallin was dancing at the end. So freakin cute. That was awesome. I love coldplay, as you know i am sure. I need to get that CD. I look forward to more videos from you girly. Also, congrats on the job. I cannot wait for you to be down here. I told bubs about it and where you working and before i could even say anything he said "well there goes all our money to lunches!" LOL. I just said "yes". HA HA. Can't wait to see ya.
K- First- I loved the entire video... I hadn't seen pictures from the Mexico trip and they looked so fun! An Dallin is so cute. Good think you have mad video making skills...;)
Oh- and Readers- Amanda is being modest about said job... it is a GREAT job )like a real one where they really pay you a real salary and get benefits and all that jazz...) and she will be brilliant!

Also great movie, I really like it you did a great job. It made me want a mac even more, when I get it, you'll have to give me tips on how to make movies. That was really fun. You have the cutest nephew in the world. Alright maybe I'm bias since he's my son, but man he's cute. He's got the best personality in the world.
