I won our family's March Madness competition this year and I finally got to cash in on my winnings...dinner and a movie. We went to Toy Story 3, which is a fantastic movie. That's saying a lot coming from me because I have never been much of an animated movie fan. Dallin is a big Toy Story fan and he loved it too. He was really into it until there was a bit of a slow moment and he realized that he didn't have anything to eat. He yelled, "We forgot the popcorn!" Grandma quickly gave Dallin some cash to give to Grandpa who saved the day with a Dallin-sized bucket of popcorn.
Doug took us out to Love and War in Texas. Most of the food was fried or brisket. I tried fried pickles for the first time and they were surprisingly delicious. For lunch I had chicken fried chicken. This picture below is the lunch size...the dinner version must be an entire chicken.
