Miller...Like a Moth.

I was blessed to know five of my great grandparents. They all left an amazing legacy and I have really enjoyed reconnecting with extended family on all sides this summer.

Last weekend I got to hang out with some pretty rad people. We had our Miller family reunion at Bear Lake from Thursday to Saturday. This is not your typical picnic-and-family-report reunion. Not to say that there is anything wrong with that type...I went to the Bartschi family reunion on Saturday afternoon which falls under this category, but it was very lovely nonetheless. Yep a reunion double header.

Let me explain why the Miller reunion is different. We are talking shakes at LaBeau's, wave running, wheeling and dealing at the auction led by our very own Uncle Ted, boating thanks to Neil, a most delicious BBQ dinner featuring Tami's dutch oven potatoes (two varieties mind you), floating on the lake all afternoon with my aunties, line dancing, games, crafts featuring colorful sand and the fatted squishy fish vs. the skinny squishy fish, and generally way too much food and laughter (is that really possible??)

I know you're jealous and if you are a family member who was not in attendance, you're probably sad that you missed out. Know that we really did miss you too and if you can make it next year I promise it would be well worth the trip.

Now watch my video:

Now watch* my hilarious second cousins once removed cousins twice removed first cousins...I don't know what they are so I'm going to call them my cousins...do a great lip sync:

*I'm sorry this video is so dark. We were in the pavilion. Hopefully you still get the idea...oh and I ran out of memory at the best part.

Title explanation: At one of my great grandparent's funerals little Kade Miller introduced himself to my family by saying, "My name is Kade Miller..Miller like a moth!" We were quite positive that it was the cutest thing ever and we still quote it just about every time we say the Miller name.
