B.W.E. Part 6

It's a rainy day in DC...very reflective of my somber mood. I always get so sad when a vacation comes to a screeching halt and reality is knocking on my door. At least I have over 500 pictures to look at when I get home to remember how much fun I had.

Yesterday was another busy day. We went to the Capitol Building to see the new visitor center (which officially opens next Tuesday) and of course to go on a tour.

This is "the center of DC"...the spot where George Washington
was supposed to be buried.

Then we went across the street to the steps of the
Supreme Court for a photo shoot.

Then we went to the Library of Congress to get educated.

We saw a squirrel and/or a chipmunk.

And a sunset.

Then we went to the Archives to steal the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

We ended the day in Georgetown. A little dinner, a little window shopping, and a lot of pictures.
