Friday is cancelled

Attention World:

We will not be having Friday this week. Any plans that you may have made for Friday, November 21st should be cancelled. Your schedule is now wide open. This rule applies even if you made your plans over a year ago. Appointments scheduled in the month of November are not exempt from this cancellation either.

That’s right folks. Celine Dion caught herself a cold and will not be singing her little heart out or pounding her chest at the Delta Center this weekend. (Yes it is still officially called the Delta Center) Apparently she is busy until February.

Just to top it all off, M of F is not happening this month due to a major “fun budget” cut. I guess they actually expect us to work…even on a Friday afternoon. Weird. Now I am stuck with seven tickets to the 3:00 PM showing of Twilight. I really hope Larry H. Miller gives me my money back.

In other news, I will be on a plane to DC exactly one week from now, and I got an awesome camera to document the emotional reunion of Wellington II #34. No more pictureless posts.

That is awful. All those months of anticipation down the drain!

Dang it. Your life is sad. Maybe we should fly across the country together next week. Good idea? yes.

ONE WEEK!?!?!?!? Words cannot adequately express the joy that fills my heart while hearing that news.

PS...bummer about Celine! I guess you would want to hear Celine at 100%...nothing less.

Ouch! My female heart aches for your loss.

Wait, let me get this straight. You no longer have to sit through Twilight and you no longer have to sit through Celine Dion and you are complaining? I cannot imagine the joy I would feel about being spared the misery of those two torturous events. And to top it all off, you can now watch the Duke basketball game when you get off work. As if that wasn't good enough, you then get to watch BYU crush Utah's BCS dreams. And as if that wasn't good enough, you then get to go see DC before Obama and his minions take over. You are hereby nominated for Best Week Ever.

Celine pounded her chest a little too hard at the last concert it seems...threw her into a coughing fit. What a wuss.
