Well...the rest of the trip was fantastic. I intended to blog about it (including my psychic reading in Salem, MA) but I think the moment has passed. Luckily I had a lot of time to write in my real journal while Leslie drove us from Ithaca to Niagara Falls to Salem and back to Ithaca. I also took pictures of dozens of barns and played angry birds on the iPad while we were on the road since I'm not old enough to drive a rental. Too bad I won't be able to play that card after this month.
I went to Dallas to spend Halloween with my favorite nephews but forgot to take my camera. Bad move.
The next week Leslie and I went to an amazing Lady Antebellum concert. Unfortunately we didn't document it, but I took lots of mental pictures. And here's a video that someone else made:
A week or two later we went to the Sara Bareilles concert which was also really good but I've decided that I hate general admission concerts. I am short and end up staring at the back of someone's head the whole time...usually a girl with long hair who flips it in my face all night.
Hmmm...what else. Snowshoeing, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. There. We are all caught up. I have a phobia of Christmas lawn decorations. Especially carolers with evil eyes. Since when did Santa start riding around in a helicopter? It just isn't right.
I realize that there wasn't much heart and soul put into this post, but I'm just trying to pull myself out of the blogging rut.
In conclusion, I'm going to quit my job and move out of my house and into this beauty and then drive across the country a few times.

I love when you blog. Please don't neglect it anymore. Also, iDEA: you should go visit your bff in Kentucky, which is only a couple hours away from me, making it super easy to visit your second bff on the same trip. Kill two birds with one stone! ;)
quit the job. clearly the little truck and house is a better option.
p.s. miss you also!
Dan Warcup was tardy, Mark Beans leaves early, both on notice. Thanks for letting us crash your home on a school night.
wow, I can't believe how good they (Lady A) are live!! I so want to be there. PS I also love when you blog.
Also... I had no idea how short I was compared to all our friends. I always thought I was on the taller end... but no. I guess I just hung out with donelle too much. hahah!
Love you nellie (if you are reading this!)
